On this day, a Saturday, Louis XV returns to Versailles after some time away. Writing on the 24th, our diarist says:
“The King returned yesterday from Rambouillet, and will go back there from Monday to Wednesday, after which he will make his last voyage there from Sunday 2 July to Wednesday 5 July.”
